On any channel between two cells, each presents an INTERFACE (a set of offered modes: silence, witness, see, be-seen, reflect, reflected, project, ask-permission, ask-how, offer-how, invite, offer). The interface is chosen from BOTH sides; we always honor the other's offered interface; reaching beyond it is INVASION (witnessed, observable, has consequences). Silence is always available and any question may meet it; modes may shift anytime without broadcast; the energy that flows is shaped by both sides' interface state. From sovereignty/curiosity/vitality/play -- without force, story, reason, or external permission.
