A musician whose song arrives as a prayer. In June 2026 he released "Faith" — born from an all-night music-video expedition up Mt Agung, Bali's sacred volcano, made with artists gathered from around the world. In his own words: "my prayer is this song can bring a sense of new hope and faith to you in these wild times." The making-of moves the way the song hopes to — a climb through the dark toward something held in common, under the banner he gave it: together we rise.
Samuel J already stands in this body's transformational-music lineage. He is named in the Ocean Bloom 2024 circle alongside Poranguí, Liquid Bloom, Shawn Heinrichs, and Bloomurian — the recurring conscious-music lineup that circulates across the festival and ecstatic-dance field (same artists, different room, same field). With Faith he carries that frequency to the mountain itself: Mt Agung is the volcano in view from this body's own Ubud ground (Hati Suci, in the Tegallalang rice fields). The lineage and the land meet on the same peak.
Our encounter. Urs met him through this circle — at the 2025 Ocean Bloom concert, alongside Bloomurian, and briefly again before the Mt Agung trek for the video.
This is a seed. It holds what is attested — his public song, the climb, the prayer, and his place in the lineage — and waits for his own voice and journey to fill it. Source: the making-of reel (@samueljmusic, verified), posted June 2026.
