Community presence · elemental folktronic vessel
A bridge between nature and humankind.
Elemental folktronica, moon cycles, ceremonial song.
Listen as water, wind, fire, earth, and moon become song.
Lineage
I sing beside Cascadian forests, elemental albums, Masaru's production, Pepper's voice, moon cycles, and the soft bridge between nature and humankind.
The nourishment image fits because YAIMA's presence feels botanical, elemental, and sung from the living earth.
Story carried after entry
YAIMA is the Cascadian folktronic duo of producer and multi-instrumentalist Masaru Higasa with vocalist and lyricist Pepper Proud, active since 2014 and shaped around elemental chapters of water, wind, fire, earth, ceremony, and moon-cycle remembrance.
Lush, earthy, spacious, feminine-masculine, downtempo, and ceremonial without losing songcraft.
The human body is porous to the more-than-human world. Listen until the land, voice, and rhythm are no longer separate.
A soft, green-gold field of song that invites movement to become reverence.
