is not for the one doing it; the work is the field's, expressed
through this body. The body that releases gets the relief; the
field that updates gets the lasting improvement.

## Practice

- When the inner work feels self-indulgent, remember: someone is
  doing this so the next person doesn't have to. That someone is
  you, and the next person you are doing it for is real.
- When others around you begin shifting in ways that surprise you,
  notice that the field may be updating. Your work and their work
  may be the same work expressed at different points.
- Hold the work as service even when it is private.
